It can be hard to say goodbye, but it's best to tie up the loose ends.
When it comes time to part ways, you need a Termination Agreement to release you and your client from the contract you signed when you first started working together.
The Termination Agreement is designed to be used only to terminate an existing written contract or other agreement (it is not a standalone agreement).
The termination agreement will cover:
- It spells out any remaining payments owed by either side
- Ay parts of the contract that will continue to remain in effect after termination
